Ingredients
- 1 lb sweet Italian sausage
- 1 large onion chopped
- 2 apples, peeled and quartered
- 1 can (27 oz) sauerkraut, undrained
- 1 cup water
- ½ cup packed brown sugar
- 1 tsp Mom Mom Spice Original 2 tsp caraway seed
Instructions
In a skillet, cook sausage and onion until sausage is brown and onion is tender; drain. Cut sausage into 2” pieces. Stir in apples, sauerkraut, brown sugar, Mom Mom Spice and caraway seed. Transfer to a 2 ½ qt baking dish. Cover and bake @350° for 1 hour. Garnish with parsley if desired.
